Some late-night
TV host needs
10 reasons for
everything.
Rabbi Gives
Weekend Talks
Dec. 16-18, the Young Israel of
Greenfield will host its second
scholar in residence Shabbat
sponsored by Mr. and Mrs. Neal
Duchin in memory of Burt
Duchin, and Mr. and Mrs. Larry
Schon in memory of Molly Fer-
leger.
Maybe you'd like to help provide in-
home care to a frail elderly woman, or
counseling for a family struggling with
the despair of joblessness.
All you
need is one
reason to give
now to the
Allied Jewish
Campaign.
Perhaps you'd like to enable a youngster
in financial need, or a child with a learn-
ing disability, to get a Jewish education.
Maybe you'd like to be part of the
heroic efforts to bring our people out of
danger in Eastern Europe to the freedom
of Israel.
Yitrchak Feigenbaum
Or, perhaps you'd just like to do a mitz-
vah for yourself and your loved ones.
Because sooner or later, every Jew is
touched in some way by one of the
agencies or services of the Jewish Fed-
eration of Metropolitan Detroit.
The guest will be Rabbi
Yitzchak Feigenbaum, the direc-
tor of Navon Educational Foun-
dation and editor of Torah Facts,
a weekly newsletter on the Torah
portion of the week.
His topic for the weekend will
be "Machmi—The Maikal and Ha-
lachah." He will give a shiur
Shabbat afternoon at 3:40 p.m.
and at 9 a.m. Dec. 18 at Young
Israel of Greenfield.
Isn't that reason enough to make a gift
now to the Allied Jewish Campaign?
