Dr. Levy was a pharmacologist special- izing in emergency medicine . and toxicology at Detroit Re- ceiving Hospital. 'David was a consummate volunteer in the community," said his brother- in-law, Larry Rosenberg. He re- ceived his doctorate in phar- macy from the University of Southern California and served his residency at Robert Wood Johnson (Rutgers University) Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J. Dr. Levy was an adjunct assistant professor at the Uni- versity of Michigan College of Pharmacy and Wayne State University School of Medicine and an associate professor at Madonna University in Livo- nia. "Dave was really sort of a pioneer," said James Stevenson, director of pharmacy services at Detroit Receiving Hospital, referring to Dr. Levy's prepa- ration of medication and infor- mation on drugs for physicians in emergency room situations. He offered his services as an emergency medical technician at the Detroit Grand Prix races, DR. SAM ABRAMSON, 86, of Largo, Fla., died Nov. 30. Dr. Abramson was a dentist.
