The Detroit Musicians League
will presents its fifth annual
adult student recital Dec. 11 at 2
p.m. at Hammell's Steinway Hall.
The program is being chaired and
arranged by Betty Kowalsky
Stasson.
The teachers who will present
their students are: Ruth Bur-
czcyk, Roxane Case, Albert Fill-
more, Toma Schwartz, Betty
Kowalsky Stasson, Izabella
Vilensky and Evelyn Villaruel.
Performing will be Susan
Feigenson, Dr. Kenneth Tucker,
Deborah Tucker, Carlton Com-
er, Jennifer Turner, Carmella
Gibson, Jean Cheng, Susan Zur-
valec, Dr. Adrian Go and Alice
Ricci.
The program is open to the
public at no charge.

On Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec.
9 and 10 at 8 p.m., Berkley High
School will present their fall mu-
sical, Oliver.
Tickets can be purchased at
the door. The Berkley High
School Auditorium is located on
Catalpa (11'/2 Mile), one block
east of Coolidge.

Violinist Gabriel Bolkosky will
be featured 7:30 p.m. Dec. 11 in
the Ferndale Music Series per-
formance of Stravinsky's The
Soldier's Tale.
Mr. Bolkosky, of Oak Park, is
a gradute of Ferndale High
School and is a senior at the
University of Michigan School of
Music. He was soloist and con-
-certmaster of the Detroit Sym-
phony Orchestra Civic Orchestra
and is now concertmaster of the
U-M Opera.
The performance will include
Prokofiev's Sonata for Two Vio-
lins, Leaf and Ridout's Ferdi-
nand, and The Soldier's Tale.
Mr. Bolkosky will be joined by
six musicians, three dancers and
a narrator.
