died Nov. 21. She was a member
of Young Israel and Congregation

University as well as a member
of Hebrew Benevolent Society.
She is survived by a son and
daughter-in-law, Samuel P. and
Florence of Southfield, daughter,
Sonia Ribiat, brother and sister-
in-law, Louis and Kay Topor of
Oak Park; six grandchildren; nu-
merous great-grandchildren.
Contributions to Akiva, Yeshiv-
ah Beth Yehudah or Hebrew
Benevolent Society would be ap-
preciated. Interment at Hebrew

ETHEL JANE HEIDEMAN,

79, of Southfield, died Nov. 19.
Mrs. Heideman received her
master's degree in psychology
form Wayne State University and
worked as a school educational
psychologist at the William Beau-
mont Clinic from 1970-1984
when she retired. She also was
active in Shaarey Zedek Seniors.
Mrs. Heideman was the beloved
wife of the late Dr. Louis E.
Heideman. She is survived by
her son and daughter-in-law,
Michael and Carol of Norwood,
Ohio; daughter and son-in-law,
Roaslind and Larry Rochkind of
Huntington Woods; grandchil-
dren, Jonathan, Matthew and
David Rochkind; sister and broth-
er-in-law, Helen and Dr. Fred
Shevin of Franklin. Interment
at Machpelah Cemetery. Memo-
rial contributions may be direct-
ed to the Children's Hospital of
Michigan, 3901 Beaubien, De-
troit, MI 48201-2196. Arrange-

ter, Evelyn Gray of Farmington
Hills; five grandchildren. Inter-
ment in Los Angeles.

CHARLES MANNY POSEN,

71, of Oak Park, died Nov. 20. He
was an active member of Perfec-
tion-Mosaic Lodge, past wor-
shipful master. He was an in-
surance agent for several
companies, a member of JWV,
B'nai B'rith and the Crescent
Shrine. He is survived by his
wife, Fayge; sons and daughter-
in-law, Craig and Ronna of Van
Nuys, Calif., Daniel of Oak Park,
Mitchell of Bloomfield Twp.; sis-
ter and brother-in-law, Janet and
Max Prog of West Bloomfield;
grandsons, Andrew and Eric. In-
terment at Clover Hill Park; ser-
vices at Hebrew Memorial
