death from ovarian cancer in
1989. Proceeds from Mr.
Zweibel's book, which recounts
that friendship, will go toward
Gilda's Club, a support organi-
zation for cancer patients and
their loved ones.
The first Gilda's Club in the
nation has started in New York
City. The second soon will begin
programs in Detroit, Ms. Rad-

ner and entertainment Nov. 11.
The evening featured Alan
Zweibel, author of Bunny Bun-
ny, Gilda Radner: A Sort of Love
Story. Mr. Zweibel was a joke
writer when he met comedienne
Gilda Radner on the set of the
television show "Saturday Night
Live."
They developed a friendship
