Airs Interviews

Two presidents and a poet appear
on the television show sponsored
by Congregation Shaarey Zedek
during November.
Geri Levit, producer and host
of the show, interviews Dr.
Richard Brown, president of Con-
gregation Shaarey Zedek; Eve-
lyn Lowen, president of the senior
group of the synagogue. They dis-
cuss the various programs' group
activities.
The poet is Dr. Edith Coven-
sky, professor of Mideast lan-
guage and literature at Wayne
State University. She has had
four books of poetry published.
On the program, she reads some
of her poetry in Hebrew and
translates it into English.
All programs can be seen mul-
tiple times a month and also can
be found in the Shaarey Zedek li-
brary. Following is the schedule
for the programs on various sta-
tions. The program is recorded at
the facilities of Continental Ca-
ble Corporation, West Bloomfield.

Chamber Winds
Series Opens

Detroit Chamber Winds' Night-
notes series will feature "Modesty
Forbids" in performance Dec. 9
at Hogopian's World of Rugs, 850
S. Woodward, Birmingham.
Modesty Forbids will present
traditional Irish and American
folk music.
The doors will open at 8 p.m.,
and the performance will begin
at 8:30 p.m. The admission price
includes the performance and re-
freshments. Tickets may be pur-

`Magical Hat'
For Children

The Cultural Arts Division of
Southfeild Parks and Recreation
