District Award of Merit by the
Boy Scouts of America. Ms. Reid,
of Huntington Woods, has been
active in scouting for nearly 10
years and has been a driving
force behind the establishment
of scout units affiliated with Jew-
ish institutions. After accepting
her award, Ms. Reid presented
"Shofar" awards to other leaders

ally for 14 years and holds a
degree from the Oberlin Conser-
