Rabbi Herbert Yoskowitz's week-
ly lunch and learn program will
continue at Congregation Beth
on Tuesdays from 12:15-1:30 p.m.
During November, the discus-
sions will center around the dif-
ficulty people have saying some
very important words. Rabbi
Yoskowitz will use medieval, rab-
binic and modern sources to
facilitate the understanding of
personal dilemmas.
The lunch and learn program
is open to members and non-
members. There is a charge for

Congregation Beth Shalom will •
hold its third annual Super
Sunday Auction Nov. 13 at the
synagogue.
Doors will open and a silent
auction will begin at 6 p.m. The
live auction will begin at 7:30
p.m. Items to be auctioned
include vacations, jewelry, gift
certificates and sports memora-
bilia.
Special guest will be Eli Zaret,
Channel 2 sportscaster. There
will be entertainment, a dessert
buffet and door prizes. Funds
raised support a multitude of ser-
vices and activities for Beth
Shalom members. In addition,
the auction income will allow
Beth Shalom to provide food and
clothing for those in need as well
as reach out to others by visiting
the sick, assisting immigrants.
