Through their study of com- parative religions, the high school students will visit the Hindu Bharatiya Temple Nov. 6. The students will view a worship ser- vice and have an opportunity to participate in a discussion ques- tion and answer session with one of the priest. On Nov. 20, the stu- dents will visit an Islamic mosque in Dearborn. On Nov. 12, the first grade stu- dents will conduct a program about rnitzvot for the young chil- dren's Shabbat service. Teachers Barbara Dorfman and Mady Pu- davick will help direct. Nov. 13 is the date set for the fifth graders to visit the mikvah at Congregation Beth Achim. This field trip introduces and ex- plains the concepts associated with this tradition. Maureen Fishman will present a Chanukah puppet show Nov. 20.
