Premiere Set
At Detroit Mercy

The Theatre Company of the
University of Detroit Mercy will
continue the 24th season of five
Michigan premieres with the
world premiere of Roomers by
Claudia Allen, opening Oct. 28
and running through Nov. 13.
Roomers is about mothers and
daughters, relationships and
strangers, and strange relation-
ships that no longer seem so
strange. Set in a small town in
Michigan on a hot summer
evening, this humorous and gen-
tle play concerns a young
woman's coming of age and her
struggle for sexual identity.

Youtheatre
Stage Production

The Yellow Boat, is a stage pro-
duction celebrating the brief life
of Benjamin Sasr who lived only
eight years, will be presented by
Youtheatre at Music Hall Center
Oct. 22, at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. It
is recommended for children age
7 and older (no one under the age
of 5 will be admitted).

Attic Stages
New Revue

The Attic Theatre will open its
19th season with The Kathy and
Mo Show, a raucous and irrever-
ent two-woman revue that takes
forays into the lives of an eccen-
tric array of characters. Perfor-
mance dates and times are
through Nov. 20: Thursdays, Fri-
days, 8 p.m.; Saturdays, 5 p.m.,
9 p.m.; Sunday matinees, 2 p.m.;
Sunday evenings, 7 p.m.
