ENTER OUR 1994 CHANUKAH ART CONTEST!
Last year, 12-year-old Rachel Mendelson's winning entry
was displayed on our annual Chanukah cover.
Here's how to enter this year.
TO ENTER: All work must be
received by noon Tuesday, Nov. 15,
at The Jewish News, 27676 Franklin
Road, Southfield, MI 48034. Each
entry must have a completed entry
form permanently attached to the
back. Print the entrant's name on
back of the work itself, as well.
MATERIALS: Anything that shows
up bold and bright, such as crayons,
paint or cut paper. No pencils or light
blue crayons, please. We suggest
taping work on cardboard to protect
it. In order to qualify, an entry form
must be permanently attached to
the back.
SIZE: 12" by 12" square.
CATEGORIES: to age 6

GRAND PRIZE: $100 and have the
work on the 1994 Chanukah issue
cover on Nov. 25 in full color!
FIRST PRIZES: $25 in all age
categories.

Morris Jewish Community Center.
Just because Rachel Mendelson is
from Windsor, Canada doesn't mean
you have to be a world-famous artist
to be on our cover. So try your hand
and enter soon.
