Animators
Gallery Animato, an animation
art gallery, will host the "Disney
Ink & Paint Tour '94" Oct. 15
and 16. Presented in conjunction
with Disney Art Editions, the
tour is a demonstration of the
American fine art on inking and
painting animation cels.
Artists from the Ink and Paint
Department at the Disney Stu-
dios will present their skills in
two sessions on each day-11 a.m.
to 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. The
artists will be available for ques-
tions about Disney animation
and the ink and paint process.
Those visiting Gallery Ani-
mato for the tour will be able to
purchase special limited-edition
cels which have been previously
created by artists at either the
Walt Disney Studios in Califor-
nia or the Disney-MGM Studios
in Florida. The special limited-
edition cel created exclusively for
the tour also will be available for
purchase.

Artist of the month for October
in the Oak Park Arts and Cul-
tural Commission continuing se-
ries of featured artists is Ms.
Nancy Crutchfield. Ms. Crutch-
field works in all media by Al
feature watercolors, in particu-
lar, in her Oak Park show.
The exhibition will be held in
the Oak Park Library and is
available for viewing during the
library's open hours.
