WE'VE FOCUSED ON DETROIT JEWISH LIFE FOR OVER 50 YEARS.
Now WE'D LIKE To GIVE YOU A SHOT.

PRESENTING

"SIX DAYS IN OCTOBER"

DETROIT JEWISH LIFE As SEEN THROUGH YOUR LENS.

From Sunday, October 23rd to sundown October 28th, you and your family are invited to share in a

wondrous community project. We'd like you to take your camera along with your imagination and capture your idea

of Detroit Jewish Life.
It could be a family reunion, a synagogue choir rehearsal, a Shabbat dinner, dancing the hora at a wedding or

going over your child's Hebrew School homework.
Whateverit is, it will help form a historical record of our community's comings and goings for generations to

come. And it will give us all an opportunity to better define our sense of community.
So, take your pictures, have them developed and send us your two favorite prints along with the negatives.

We'll take the best of the best and publish a special insert to appear in an upcoming issue of The Jewish News.

Start planning now. We can't wait to see what develops.
