TEMPORARY EMPLOY-
MENT is comparable to full-time
work when it comes to evaluat-
ing job applicants, say 78 percent
of executives quizzed in a recent
survey.
Some 80 percent of those sur-
veyed also said it is valuable to
have an administrative assistant
first work as a temporary before
a permanent job is offered.
The survey was conducted by
an independent research firm,
which polled 150 human re-
sources and other executives
from the nation's largest 1,000
companies.
The project was commissioned
by OfficeTeam, a California-
based company which has an of-
fice in Troy. It specializes in
acquiring temporary and full-
time employment for adminis-
trative professionals.
