closely with the Joint Distribu-
tion Committee and Jewish
Agency, groups that use funds
raised through American cam-
paigns for Jewry worldwide.
Mr. Aronson stressed that
American and Israeli Jews must
not become strangers to each oth-
er. Despite positive changes to Is-
rael's social and economic scenes,
there is still a need for American
interest and support, he said.
"All of us are contributing to
the current transformation of the
Jewish people in the State of Is-
rael. But with today's historic
changes, what will be the dy-
namic of our relationship with
the Jewish state? The answer is
not for each of our two Jewish
communities to withdraw from
each other and only concentrate
on our own needs and objectives,"
he said.
"To retreat into mutual isola-
tion is the antithesis of Mal Yis-
rael, the unity of the Jewish

Judge Moiseev's anti-senior "Pay The Ticket-No Deal" policy,
benefits insurance companies and leaves seniors at risk,

Susan Moiseev has been touting herself as an "outstanding" Judge. Unfortunately that rating must be
from the insurance industry. Because that's who benefits from Susan Moiseev's anti-senior decisions.
Her "No-Deal" policy irrespective of past driving record, is blatantly prejudicial against senior
citizens, and often gives insurance companies the "points" they need to double or even triple rates.
That's why we need Stephen Korn for 46th District Judge.

Korn promises to take matters under advisement and dismiss cases if this
plea arrangement is offered by the prosecuting attorney.

Stephen Korn is for all citizens, and is especially sensitive to senior drivers.
So when Susan Moiseev asks for your vote this November, tell her; "No-Deal!"
And give her a ticket back to anonymity. Instead-

people. The key will be moving
beyond the philanthropic to in-
clude personal involvement and
to share resources with each oth-
er," Mr. Aronson said.
Mr. Aronson called the 170
youngsters whom Detroit sent on
programs to Israel last summer
"clearly inadequate. We ought to
be sending at least 500."
"In the final analysis, our fu-
ture as a federation depends on
our creativity and energy in
building commitment to Israel,
promoting the collective Jewish
experience of Israel as a reposi-
tory of mutual memory and build-
ing a relationship of shared
responsibility," he said. "Only
then, will the concept of Klal Yis-
rael have meaning for our chil-
dren." D
