Detroit's public television station,
WTVS-Channel 56, will air "The
Papal Concert in Commemora-
tion of the Shoah" at 10 p.m. Oct.
20, with a replay at 3 a.m.
Recorded in April, the concert
combines behind-the-scenes doc-
umentary footage, with a stun-
ning concert performance of the
Vatican event.

Maestro Gilbert Levine leads
the Royal Philharmonic Orches-
tra, the Choir of St. Peter's Basil-
ica, and the Choir of the Roman
Philharmonic Orchestra, the
Choir of St. Peter's Basilica, and
the choir of the Roman Philhar-
monic in selected program of mu-
sic in tribute to the victims of the
Holocaust.
