munity's afternoon and congre-
gational schools will learn new
songs, games and lesson ideas
about teaching tzedakah and will
create original tzedakah boxes at
an Agency for Jewish Education
Workshop, "Tzedakah: Beyond
the Blue Box" Oct. 13 from 7 - 9
p.m. at the AJE.
The workshop will provide
teachers with materials to cre-
atively teach about tzedakah in
their classrooms. Participants are
also encouraged to bring their
own original tzedakah boxes with
them to share with the other ed-
ucators. The workshop, which is
part of the AJE's yearly NIRTM
Professional Enrichment Pro-
gram for Jewish Educators is free
of charge.
