Adat Shalom Synagogue's new-
ly reorganized Chavurah pro-
gram will hold a kick-off event
beginning at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 11.
The evening will feature nation-
ally syndicated columnist and
Mat Shalom member Jeffrey "All
That Zazz" Zaslow, along with a
presentation of the congregation's
all-new Chavurah format. The
evening is designed for both cur-
rent Adat Shalom Chavurah
members and those seeking in-
formation. You do not need to be
a synagogue member in order to
join a chavurah group.
New chavurot will be formed
this year along special interest
lines, i.e. Israeli folkdance, Jew-
ish movies, political discussion,
music, cooking, etc. Those in at-
tendance will be able to sign up
for a chavurah that evening. Re-
freshments will be served.
To attend the Chavurah Kick-
off, call Heather Farrant, 851-
5100, by Oct. 10.

Men's Club
Deli Dinner

The men's club of Congregation
B'nai Moshe will host its 1994-95
kick-off event at the synagogue
on Oct. 4. The deli dinner buffet
will begin at 6:45 p.m. followed
by a brief meeting, cards and so-
cializing.
