Mr. Stuart was a dedicated com- munity supporter. In addition to being the founder and own- er of Federal Fireplace and Bar- becue Co., he devoted many years to civic involvement in the greater metropolitan area, serv- ing as chairman of the board of Oakland Family Services, trea- surer of the Jewish Communi- ty Center and member of many other charitable organizations. Mr. Stuart entered the fam- ily business as a young man and built it into the largest fire- place company in the region, later expanding it into new out- lying areas of Sterling Heights and Novi.
