Kozlow's Ladies
On Exhibit

"Kozlow's Ladies," an exhibition
of paintings and sculpture by
Michigan artist, Richard Kozlow,
will open Oct. 21 at Posner
Gallery, 32407 Northwestern
Highway, Farmington Hills.
The more than a dozen acrylic
paintings of buxom women in
striking poses are a continuation
of his "Zaftig (well-rounded)
Ladies" done with great success
in the early 1980s.
In "Kozlow's Ladies," the
artist brings together many ele-
ments of his work from other pe-
riods — pattern design,
landscape, symbolism, whimsey
and his great love of the human
form.
His appreciation of his sub-
jects in this exhibition is evi-
denced in the elegant curve of
a mountain of thigh, the flick of
a pony tail, the saucy flip of a
wrist and the stratigic place-
ment of a wisp of fabric or glit-
ter stars. The artist endows each
of these lovelies with an en-
chanting and highly individual
personality whether looking for
shells in the sand, sunning in a
beach chair or dancing in a cho-
rus line.
"Kozlow's Ladies" will contin-
ue through Nov. 23. Gallery
hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tues-
day-Friday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Saturday. For information, call
Posner Gallery, (810) 626-6450.
