Jewish Family Living Institute The Jewish Family Living Institute, created last spring at Adat Shalom, provides congregants with a variety of significant Jewish experiences to empower them to live more meaningful and richer Jewish lives within the Conservative movement. JFLI serves as a coor - dinating body for much of our Synagogue programming, working with affiliates, committees and departments. JFLI is both a catalyst for and coordinator of a wealth of family-oriented activities. As you look through this calendar, you will notice many of our JFLI co-sponsored programs for the coming season. Chavurot Can Enhance Your Jewish Experience Get acquainted with the Adat Shalom Chavurah program at a kick-off event, 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11. Nationally- syndicated advice columnist Jeffrey Zaslow will be on hand with an entertaining presentation for adults of all ages. Adat Shalom chavurot study together, socialize, and share Jeffrey Zaslow religious celebrations and Jewish concerns. These small, cohesive 'friendship circles' of congregants of all ages await you and your fami- ly. Our re-organized and expanded program is coor- dinated by JFLI.
