Jerry Springer and Nicole Miller in Chicago.
niversity of Michigan se-
nior Nicole Miller of
Bloomfield Hills spent her
summer in Chicago talk-
ing to interesting and often des-
perate people. She was an intern
for the "Jerry Springer Show,"
and her job was to answer the 1-
800 telephone number.
"Jerry was many people's last
hope, especially if they had a
medical problem or were looking
for a lost relative," said Nicole.
After trying to help the callers,
she then went to the producers
of the show to discuss future pro-
grams. '1 really saw what it was
like behind the scenes at the
show."
Although she really enjoyed
her summer, Nicole plans on ap-
plying to law school for next year.
Nicole is the daughter of Dr.
Larry and Carole Miller.
