A WHOLE NEW FRUIT & FIBRE®
WITH A GREAT NEW TASTE!

2 cups button mushrooms
1 cup cashew nuts
8 bananas, sliced lengthwise
cup brown sugar
6 cups cooked rice
2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped

Heat 1 tablespoon of the but-
ter or margarine and saute onion
until tender. Add garlic and gin-
ger, sauteing another minute.
Stir in peanut butter and sea-
sonings. Dissolve cornstarch in
some cold milk. Add to pot, then
slowly add rest of milk. Heat to
just below boiling. Stir in co-
conut, tofu, mushrooms, and
cashews. Cook, stirring con-
stantly, for 10 minutes. Melt re-
maining butter or margarine in
a frying pan and fry bananas un-
til golden. Sprinkle with brown
sugar. Arrange rice on a large
platter. Surround with fried ba-
nanas and garnish with chopped
eggs.

GREEK FISH KEBABS

2 lbs. firm - fleshed fish fillets
(salmon, tuna)
% cup dry white wine
cup olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 scallions, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
teaspoon oregano
teaspoon salt
Freshly ground black pepper
12 medium mushrooms
12 cherry tomatoes
2 green peppers, cut into squares
2 onions, cut into sections

Cut fish into 2 dozen cubes.
Combine wine, olive oil, lemon
juice, scallions, garlic, oregano,
salt, and pepper. Marinate fish
in this for several hours. Thread
fish cubes and vegetables on
skewers and barbecue or broil for
5 minutes. Serve with rice. ❑

They will begin with a brunch
for members on Aug. 21, at which

take place on Oct. 9. The second
annual bus tom- of old Detroit will
take place Oct. 16.
The Men's Club Sock Hop will

Dec. 1 and 4. Jan. 22 will be the
joint men's club sisterhood
brunch. Las Vegas night is set for
Feb. 11. March 25 will mark the
