year-old doubles division in the

went undefeated in NOCSSL
doubles this summer, winning
five matches during the regular
season and three in the league
tournament.

In their doubles title match,
Brian and Josh defeated Mike
Timlin and Blake Nickler of
Bloomfield Hills Athletic Club 8-
3. Eric outlasted Jimmy Crowell
of the Surf Club 8-7 as a 12-10 tie-
breaker in the final game deter-
mined the champion.

This fall, he'll be a fifth-grader at
Lone Pine Elementary in the
Bloomfield Hills School District.
Ten-year-old Zak Rosen of Or-
chard Valley made it to the finals
in the boys 10 singles division at
the league tournament before be-
ing blanked 8-0 by Dominique
Genest of the Surf Club. A West
Bloomfield resident, Zak will be
going into the fifth grade at
Meadow Lake Elementary in the
Birmingham School District.
