Summer Concert

The Melody Musicale Ensemble,
under the direction of Louise
Lazarus, will present the annu-
al summer concert 2 p.m. Aug. 21
at 4336 Faircourt Drive, West
Bloomfield.
Guest performers will be Zel-
da Keil Miller, Sidney Miller and
Gene Slovin. Vocal soloists will
be Galina Feldman, Shirley
Frost, Shelley Geller, Sandy Iss-
er, Rachel Kapen, Miriam
Khakham, Sonia Kitain, Florence
Malach, Lois Moore, Irma Pasick,
Adelle Kozadayev and Elizabeth
Rose.
Musical selections will consist
of popular ballads, musical com-
edy, Yiddish and Hebrew
melodies and operatic arias. Ruth
Handelman will act as narrator;
Evelyn Berger will play violin
pieces and Yeva Khaykin will
perform Yiddish and Russian
Pieces on the bayan.
The Kozadayev and Kitain
families will sing, play the piano
and other instruments.
A dairy dinner will follow the
concert. There is a charge. For

a magic act by Dr. Donald Katain
will be performed; Udi Kapen will
do a juggling act.

tivity and business sense, will be
featured on the Congregation
Shaarey Zedek television pro-
gram presented in August.
Three generations of Berry
men are interviewed by Geri Lev-
it, host and producer of the show.
Appearing in another segment
is Ike Ingelbaum, inventor, and
one of the people responsible for
keeping the Shaarey Zedek Li-
brary at its high level of cultural
activities.
All programs can be seen mul-
tiple times on the following sta-
tions and the tapes can be taken
out of the Shaarey Zedek Library.
The program is recorded at the
