Holiday Plans
At Midrasha

A special adult Jewish study ses-
sion in Hebrew will be featured
as part of Midrasha's ongoing se-
ries of free programs for adults
who wish to prepare for the High
Holidays. Edward Codish, a
teacher at Akiva Hebrew Day
School and a well-known adult
educator, poet, and translator,
will lead a study session on the
subject of "Jewish Prayer'' 8 p.m.
Aug. 18 at Midrasha, 21550 West
12 Mile Road, Southfield.
This is one of a number of
events for Hebrew speakers that
Midrasha is planning to offer dur-
ing the coming New Year in co-
operation with community
groups who wish to encourage
Jewish adults to acquire fluency
in the Hebrew Language. All
events are free of charge.
