will mark the HMC's first decade
of remembrance and Holocaust
education.
Mr. Laker is president of Ace-
Tex Corporation and its affiliates.
Mr. Milgrom is a retired exec-
utive vice president of Mercury
Paints. He manages the compa-
ny's real estate holdings.
Mr. Laker and Mr. Milgrom
are long time supporters of the
Holocaust Memorial Center and
dedicated activists within the
community. Both are past presi-
dents of Congregation Shaarey
Zedek and still involved in the
congregation.
Mr. Laker also is the co-chair-
man of the 1994 Israel Bond Din-
ner for the Detroit Metropolitan
Detroit Area and the 1994 chair-
man of the annual Laker Con-
cert. He is a board director of the
Clover Hill Park Cemetery and
affiliated with the Jewish Home
for Aged, Allied Jewish Cam-
paign, Hebrew Benevolent Soci-
ety, Jewish Thoogical Seminary,
Jewish National Fund.
Mr. Milgrom is the president
of the Michigan Jewish Sports
Hall of Fame and sits on the ex-
ecutive committee of the State of
Israel Bonds, Michigan region.
He is also a board member of the
Sinai Health Care Foundation.
