Here We Come! Detroit athletes are ready to head to Cleveland for the North American Maccabi Youth Games. Some 2,500 athletes on 68 teams from around the country and the world will be in Cleve- land. Delegations are coming from Australia, Great Britain, Is- rael and Mexico. Closer to home, teams from Ann Arbor and Wind- sor also will join the festivities. An estimated 2,200 athletes competed in the North American Games when they were held in Detroit in 1990. That number jumped to 2,600 in Baltimore in 1992.
