Edwin G. Shifrin, 73, of South-

Ainsley Lebowitz
Ainsley Lebowitz, 49, of West
Bloomfield, died July 26. She was
an art teacher with Southfield
Public Schools for eight years.
She received her degree in fine
arts and teaching certificate from
Michigan State University and
was working on her master's de-
gree. She was active with Juve-
nile Diabetes Foundation and
Birmingham Bloomfield Art As-
sociation. She was a member of
Michigan Education Association.
She leaves her husband, Fred;
children, Steven and Michelle; fa-
ther, Winston Ripley; sister,
Nancy Seger.
