Italian Festival
Set For August

46th District Judge

The entire family can have fun at
the Macomb Italian Festival at
Freedom Hill Aug. 5, 6 and 7. The
festival will be held at Freedom
Hill Park located on Metro Park-
way between Utica and Schoen-
herr.
There's no admission charge
to the festival, but there is a park-
ing fee.
Favorite Italian foods will be
served by some of the area
restaurants and catering estab-
lishments. Traditional music and
songs will be heard all day.
There'll be music for dancing at
the pavilion and at the stage
area.
Booths will sell boutique items,
Italian T-shirts, hats and sou-
venirs.
Hours for the festival will be:
Aug. 5 from 6 to 11 p.m.; Aug. 6,
from noon to 11 p.m. and Aug. 7
from noon to 11 p.m.

`Housewives'
Storm Strand

Angry Housewives, a wildly en-
ergetic musical comedy by A.M.
Collins and Chad Henry runs
through Aug. 14 at the Strand
Theatre in Pontiac. The play fol-
lows the path of four frustrated
suburban women on a precarious
voyage of self discovery that leads
them to enter a talent contest in
a "Punk Rock" club.
Performances run Thursdays
through Sundays at the Strand
Theatre, 12 N. Saginaw in Pon-
tiac. "Talk-back" with the actors
and the director follows every
Thursday evening performance.

Strand Theatre box office, (810)
335-8100; or the Attic Theatre
box office, (313) 875-8284.

Art Fair
At Meadowbrook

Rochester Hills-Creative Arts
Council will sponsor the 18th An-
nual Art at Meadowbrook out-
door art fair Aug. 20, 21 from 10
a.m. to 5 p.m.
This art exhibit will be held on
the northeast grounds of Oakland
University at the intersection of
Walton Boulevard and Adams
Road in Rochester Hills.

Art Fair
In Ferndale

Downtown Ferndale, on Aug. 13-
14 will be the site for the juried
Ferndale Street Art Fair.
All artists will be eligible to win
one of four awards of two hun-
dred dollars each.
