Genser, 89, of Aven- turea, Fla., passed away July 14. Mr. Genser immigrated from Austria in 1920 and lived most of his life in Detroit. He founded Masco Battery Man- ufacturing Company in 1934 and was recognized as an au- thority on the design and man- ufacturing process of the auto- motive electric storage battery. Mr. Genser was a past pres- ident of Beth Abraham Syna- gogue, director of the Beth Abraham Cemetery Associa- tion for 30 years, active in the State of Israel Bonds. With his wife, Goldie, he re- tired to Florida in 1974. They had been married for 61 years, at the time of her death in 1989. FRIEDA F. BRENNER, 72, of Farmington Hills, died July 25.
