Single Adults
Jewish Studies
The Florence Melton Adult Mini-
School of Metro Detroit, a two-
year program of introductory
adult Jewish study developed by
Hebrew University and sched-
uled to open in metro Detroit this
fall, is a welcoming entry-point
for single Jewish adults who are
interested in learning more
about their Jewish heritage.
Midrasha is serving as coordi-
nating agency for the Melton
Mini-School, in partnership with
an array of metro area congre-
gations, Hillel Day School,
Hadassah, and National Coun-
cil of Jewish Women.
The Melton Mini-School en-
courages adult learners of all
ages to study together in classes
that meet once a week, 30 weeks
a year, for two years. Tuition fees
for the program represent less
than the actual cost in order to
be as affordable as possible.
For information or to be put
on Midrasha's Melton mailing
list, call Nancy Kaplan or Sandy
Loeffler, 354-1050.
