Israel Tour

On July 10 from 1:30 p.m. to 5
p.m. Hillel of Metro Detroit will
present Down-River Canoeing at
Heavner Park/Proud Lake Recre-
ation Center in Milford (810) 685-
2379. Those interested in this
event must respond by July 6;

man. Caravan/carpool informa-

On Aug. 21, the Jewish Stu-
dent Organization of Oakland
University will host a trip to
Cedar Point. To participate or for

Applications will become avail-
able for the Machon L'Torah Is-
rael 1994 summer learning tour.
A total of 10 scholarships will be
awarded for the best qualified ap-
plicants.
The tour, which will be led by
Rabbi and Mrs. Jacobovitz, is
planned to begin on Aug. 17 and
is co-sponsored by the Ohr So-
mayech/Joseph Tenenbaum Col-
lege. This tour will include Jewish
study in the areas of philosophy,
language, history, laws.
