New Board
Pounding the pavement
Charles Mayer assumed the pres-
idency of the brotherhood of Tem-
ple Beth El. A life member of the
brotherhood, Mr. Mayer was for-
merly first vice president; he
stepped in to assume the duties
of president when the sitting of-
ficer took ill. Mr. Mayer's broth-
erhood involvement also has
included working on the semi-an-
nual blood drives, the annual out-
reach program for new
Americans, the Brotherhood
Sports Night and the monthly
bingo at Borinan Hall, a program
which he originated.
Installed with Mr. Mayer were

man, vice presidents; Bob

treasurer; Byron Siegel, Jeffrey
