Elects Officers
Judith Levin Cantor was elected
president of the Jewish Histori-
cal Society for the 1994-96 term.
Other officers elected were:
James D. Grey, vice president;
Harriet Siden, recording secre-

Levi, treasurer.
Elected to the board of direc-
tors were Hugh Broder, Cynthia

A commemorative medal "on

ADL brought in six Ethiopian Is-

schools.
Cheryle Bloom, Gene Farber,
Howard Goldberg, Barry J. Good-
man, Leonard Sahn, Sheri T.
Schiff, and Ruth Lando of Kala-
mazoo were reelected as vice
presidents. In addition, Michael
Horowitz, Nancy Simpson,
Richard Nodel and Steven Tap-
per were elected as first-time vice
presidents.
The late president of RCA,
David Sarnoff, held a com-
mission of brigadier-general
during World War II and
was responsible for organi-
zing the intricate com-
munications system of Gen.
Dwight D. Eisenhower's
headquarters.
