Supreme Brownie Mix Hot Fudge Brownies from Betty Crocker are OU-
Dairy.
Pepperoni by Paradise products are no longer OU certified.
Tropicana Pure Tropics Orange Strawberry Banana Juice is not certified
as Kosher even though some cartons have an OK. All other Tropicana
products bearing the OK are certified.
Getting A Get
The Council of Orthodox Rabbis of Greater Detroit wishes to inform
the Jewish public that a Civil Divorce without a Jewish Get is worth-
less according to Jewish law. A couple may not remarry in Jewish law

HAWAIIAN SURFWICH
12 slices of bread
butter, softened
1 c. sour cream
4 c. diced green bell peppers
1 T. minced onions
34c. chopped pimento (optional)
2 T. wine vinegar
1 T. sugar % t. salt
% t. pepper
3 c. finely shredded cabbage
1 c. white tuna, drained and
flaked
6 pineapple slices
12 thin tomato slices
12 thin slices of cheddar cheese
Toast and butter bread. Com-
bine sour cream, bell pepper,
onion, pimiento, vinegar, sugar,
salt, and pepper. Fold in cabbage
and tuna. Spread mixture equal-
ly on 6 slices of toast and top with
a pineapple slice. Cut the re-
maining toast diagonally in half
and place a half at each side of
the sandwich. Place tomato slices
in a bowl combine all the in-
gredients except the bread. Fill
the pita and serve. Serves 3.
POTATO CHIP CHEESE
PUFF
1 3 c. grated cheddar cheese
2 egg yolks
1 t. Worcestershire sauce
2 egg whites, whipped to soft
peaks
% c. crushed potato chips
Whole potato chips
Pre heat oven to 400. Beat the
yolks until well mixed. Add the
Worcestershire sauce and the
cheese. Add the egg whites and
the crushed chips. Place a small
amount of the mixture on a whole
potato chip and bake until puffed
and brown. (5 to 6 minutes)
Serve at once.
STRAWBERRY LIMEADE
2 10oz packages frozen
strawberries in syrup, thawed
3 c. cold water
8 oz. lime juice
% to % c. sugar
ice
whole strawberries or mint to
garnish
In a blender, blend strawber-
ries well. In a pitcher combine
pureed strawberries, water lime
juice and sugar. Stir until the
sugar dissolves. Serve over ice
and garnish.
