Adat Shalom
Youth Siyum

Students from the Hay (seventh
grade) class of Adat Shalom Re-
ligious School recently partici-
pated in Chagigat Ha-Siyum,
"Celebration of Completion."
They led the Shacharit service
with special readings and selec-
tions written by the students to
explain the service. Each child
was presented with a certificate
marking his/her completion of the
synagogue's religious school pro-
gram and preparation for entry
into Adat Shalom's eighth grade
program.

presidents of the Great Lakes
AZA and BBG Councils respec-
tively at the BBYO Elections
Training Conclave held at Camp
Maas. Mr. Alterman of Bloom-
field Hills has been a member of
Kishon AZA for three years and
served last year as Council mem-
bership vice president. Ms. Stern
of Orchard Lake is a member of
Achayot BBG and has served
previously as president of Glazer
BBG.
