Krispin moved to California
20 years ago, only to watch
her career go to the dogs.
Ms. Krispin, a graduate of
Berkley High School and a Los
Angeles publicist, has several ac-
counts. But perhaps her most fa-
mous client is Buck the dog from
the Fox network television show
"Married With Children."
"One of the greatest loves I
have is for animals," said Ms.
Krispin, who was in town recently
to celebrate her mother Gertrude
Gordon's 90th birthday. "I took
on Buck and his buddies (five
other dogs owned and trained by
Buck's owner Steven Ritt) be-
cause he and the other dogs are
well trained, not only with re-
wards but also with love."
Last fall, Ms. Krispin was han-
dling the publicity for PAWS LA,
an organization that helps care
for animals whose owners are
HIV-positive or have AIDS, when
she first met Buck, who was the
honorary chair-dog for the orga-
nization's benefit fund-raiser.
As their publicist, Ms. Krispin
