portance of preserving Jeru-
salem's cultural heritage.

Lee Meyerhoff Hendler, chair-
person of the Children of Harvey
and Lynn Meyerhoff Philan-
thropic Fund at the Associated:
Jewish Community Federation
of Baltimore, will keynote the
United Jewish Foundation an-
nual meeting and reception 4
p.m. June 28 at the Max M. Fish-
er Building.
The UJF works with the Jew-
ish Federation of Metropolitan
Detroit to oversee the mainte-
nance of communal properties
and manages endowment funds
for future communal needs. The
UJF funds enhance those raised
by the Allied Jewish Campaign.
Jack A. Robinson, president of
the UJF, will deliver the founda-
tion's annual report. Election and
installation of officers and board
members will take place, and re-
cent donors to the Federated En-
dowment Fund will be honored.

Ms. Hendler has achieved a
national following for her pre-
sentation of intergenerational
philanthropy at the General As-
sembly of the Council of Jewish
Federations last fall.
In Baltimore, she co-chairs fi-
nancial resource development for
the Associate's Center for the Ad-
vancement of Jewish Education,
and sits on the steering commit-
tee of Educational Forum for
Jewish Philanthropy. A commit-
tee of the Associate's Legacy and
Endowment Department, it
brings together families holding
a variety of philanthropic funds
for information about giving op-
portunities locally, nationally and
internationally.
There is a charge for the re-
ception. For reservations by June
