and Sue of Farmington Hills;
three grandchildren.

sister-in-law, Samuel and Marie
Louise Rosenthal of Chicago; one
granddaughter.

Helen Ring

Helen Ring, former Detroiter of
North Miami Beach, Fla., died
May 13. Among her accomplish-
ments were past presidencies in
the League of Jewish Women,
Women's American ORT and
B'nai B'rith; co-chairperson of
Allied Jewish Campaign; fund-
raiser for the Canter Foundation,
March of Dimes, and Hadassah.
Her achievements included re-
ceipt of the Woman of Valor
award from State of Israel Bonds
and acclaim as "Woman of the
Week" by the United Way. She
volunteered for many causes, log-
ging over 3,000 hours at Sinai
Hospital in Detroit, serving most
recently at the Miami Jewish
Home for the Aged.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law Dr. Alvin and
Cynthia Ring of Chicago; daugh-
ter and son-in-law, Estelle and
Dr. Larry Meskin of Denver; five
grandchildren.
