Rabbi Aaron Bergman will teach
a three-part Wednesday lunch
and learn series at the Midrasha
Center for Adult Jewish Learn-
ing on June 15, 22, and 29. His
theme will be "Rabbinic Fan-
tasies: The Rabbinic Imagination
and Pirkei Avot." No knowledge
of Hebrew is required, and all are
welcome to attend.
Kosher lunch will be available
at noon, with the study session
following from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
Adult learners may register for
the entire series or individual ses-
sions, with or without lunch. Ad-
vance registration is a must.
There is a charge, which includes
photocopied study materials.

The Washtenaw County JCC
Colossal Computer Sale is sched-
uled for June 26 from 9:30 a.m.
to 4 p.m. at Washtenaw Com-
munity College's Job Skills and
Campus Events Building, East
Huron River Drive, Arm Arbor.
The sale offers a wide array of
surplus equipment and bargain
hardware and software as well
as such new technologies as mul-
ti-media hardware and CD ROM
disks. The JCC also receives and
sells donated used equipment.
The sale is held as a benefit for
the Jewish Community Center of
Washtenaw county three times
a year. There is a charge; re-
freshments will be sold. Tax de-
ductible donations of used
equipment are welcome. For in-

Birmingham Temple, will discuss
In Search of Anti-Semitism by
William F. Buckley.
On June 13, 8:30 p.m. in the
second part, Rabbi Wine will dis-
cuss The Arabists by Robert D.
Kaplan. This is the untold story
of an inbred, gifted and powerful
elite of families and friends who
dominated America's relations
with the Middle East for over a
century.
Discussion will follow the re-
