owner of Bookpeople in the Orchard
Mall, many of her customers choose
light reading for summer, which in-
cludes romance and mystery novels.
"But there is always people who like
the meaty stuff," she said.
For easy, summer reading by the
pool, hem are some fast- paced books
that don't require a graduate degree.
Accident by Danielle Steel (Dela-
corte) is about a car accident involv-
ing teen-agers that changes the lives
of several families forever. In July,
Delacorte will release Steel's thirty-
