sionals (IRP) will host a Meet the
IRP Day at the Maple/Drake
Jewish Community Center June
5 at 2:30 p.m.
All prospective retirees, semi-
retired and retired seniors are in-
vited to attend. There is no
charge or obligation.
A short presentation explain-
ing the history and purpose of
IRP will be made by Ethel Sil-
berg. Facilitators of the activity
groups will be on hand to answer
questions. Refreshments will be
served.

Senior Calendar

Members of the Michigan Opera
Theatre will appear at the
Maple/Drake Jewish Community
Center, June 6 at 1 p.m. They will
present a program of music from
Broadway musicals. There is an

admission charge. Call Lorraine

Mahjongg class will start June
7 at 9:30 a.m. for five weeks at
Maple/Drake. There is a charge.

Calligraphy will be taught by
Phil Golob at Maple/Drake start-
ing June 7 at 10 a.m. for six
weeks. There is a charge. For in-

On July 6 at 1 p.m., Rabbi
Avrahm Jacobovitz of Machon
L'Torah will discuss the destruc-
tion of the Jewish people in rela-
tion to the holiday of Tisha B'Av.

This fall, Miss Saigon will
come to the Masonic Theatre.
Maple/Drake will offer, on Oct.
16, a trip to the Masonic for a
matinee performance. Reserva-
tions must be made by June 9.
