sionals are invited to attend "As
the World Turns: Inter-Agency
Relations in the 21st Century" at
the Jewish Federation's sixth an-
nual Professional Management
Conference June 17 at Temple Is-
rael. Vicki Agron, assistant vice
president of campaign planning
and budgeting at the United Jew-
ish Appeal, will deliver the
keynote address.
The half-day conference, which
is open to professional staff mem-
bers of Jewish organizations,
agencies and religious institu-
tions, will begin at 8:45 a.m. Par-
ticipants will learn how to develop
financial resources effectively, im-
prove communications with lay
leaders and professional col-
leagues, serve diverse con-
stituencies simultaneously and
leave the office behind mentally
as well as physically.

taken the reins at the Detroit-
based law firm of Butzel Long.
Richard Rassel has been named

Bromberg is chief operating offi-
cer. They replace William Saxton
and Harold Ruemenapp, who re-

of the board of directors, execu-
tive committee and the compen-
sation committee. Both Mr.
Saxton and Mr. Ruemenapp have

Inc. has once again selected the
Anthony M. Franco Inc. public re-
lations agency in Detroit to pro-
vide public relations counsel and
implement activities for its Hi-

A NEW Orchid Cafe restau-
rant, featuring Thai cuisine, has
opened at 30 West Square Lake
Road at Livernois in Troy. The
original Orchid Cafe, which be-
gan doing business in 1991, is at

THIRTEEN local financial in-
stitutions have joined together to
create Oakland County's first
CRA Association. The association
will act as an intermediary to in-
form financial institutions of com-
munity reinvestment
