he Reva Stocker Educational Lecture Series is made possible through a Jewish
Family Service endowment established by Reva Stocker. This first annual
lecture will address the topic: "The Family As Healer: so Lessons For Life and Love".

The lecture is a project of the JFS Education Forum Committee and the agency's
WINDOWS Program on Family Abuse Prevention. A dynamic role play will be
presented highlighting issues addressed by the JFS WINDOWS Program.
Dr. Paul Pearsall is the former Director of the Sinai Hospital Clinic of Problems of
Daily Living and a popular international lecturer on mental health and healing
issues. He is the author of the recently published Sexual Healing: Using the Power of an
Intimate Loving Relationship to Heal the Body and Soul.

Machon L'Torah will celebrate
its 14 anniversary June 1 at a
banquet which will feature Rab-
bi Berel Wein 6 p.m. at the Plaza
Hotel, Southfield.
Rabbi Wein, a scholar of Jew-
ish history, is the author of Tri-
umph of Survival, the story of
Jewish people in the modern era
(1650-1900s).
A graduate of the Hebrew The-
ological College, Skokie, Ill., Rab-
bi Wein received his ordination
in 1955. In 1964, he assumed the
pulpit of Beth Israel Congrega-
tion in Miami Beach, Fla. In 1972
he was appointed executive vice
president of the Union of Ortho-
dox Jewish Congregations of
