Rights Advocate Will Speak Shulamith Koenig, a human rights advocate, will be the guest speaker at a Michigan Region Women's American ORT recep- tion honoring Paula Glazier on behalf of the Women's Division of State of Israel Bonds. Ms. Koenig, one of the founders of Israel's "Peace Now" movement, is also president and founder of the Decade of Human Rights, Inc., and executive direc- tor of the organizing committee of the Decade of Human Rights Education, which promotes edu- cation in human rights and democracy. She is an industrial and mar- keting consultant to Israeli man- ufacturers, and a frequent lecturer both in the United States and Israel. Ms. Koenig, who re- ceived her degree in industrial engineering and industrial man- agement from Columbia Univer- sity, has been the recipient of four national awards for best indus- trial design in Israel.
