MIRACLE
MISSION

MAV 7-7] 1995

544441,,

When I was asked to say hello and invite you
to visit Israel, I was really excited. Your first
Michigan Miracle Mission made a deep im-
pression on me. To think that so many of you
came together to show your solidarity with us!

I suppose they asked me because I'm a pretty
typical Israeli: born in Israel, the child of immi-
grant parents.

Twenty-one years ago, my parents arrived in
Israel from Georgia (and I'm not talking
Atlanta!). I "came along" a year later. We're
Jerusalemites; my father's in marketing and my
mother's a registered nurse.

After serving as a combat medic in the Golani
Infantry Brigade, I graduated from an ORT
computer and electronics vocational school.
Like my friends, I continue to serve in the re-
serves.

If any of you like sports, computers, or photog-
raphy, look me up! Of course, my country is
filled with people who love sports, computers
and photography. So just come to Israel; you'll
find lots of people to talk to!

See you next year!
