The Fresh Air Societyframarack
Camps will offer a third Bubbie-
Zayde and Kinder Camp at
Butzel Conference Center July
29-31. The weekend program is
intended for grandparents and
their grandchildren ages 3-11.
Counselors are in charge of the
activities and will provide child
care in the evenings. The food ser-
vice is glatt kosher.

Council President Jeannie Wein-
er will be honored at Congrega-
tion Shaarey Zedek's Men's Club
Sunday Morning Breakfast Sem-
inar 9:30 a.m. May 22. Ms. Wein-
er will reflect on her tenure as
JCCL's president and discuss the
workings of the community rela-
tions organization. The Shaarey
Zedek Sisterhood will co-host the
seminar. There is no charge. For

Elections

The Department of Michigan
Jewish War Veterans and Ladies
Auxiliary recently held election
of officers. Martha Hauptman
was reelected president and the
three vice presidents are Myra
Gross. Rosalyn Liner and Rubin
Zissman; treasurer is Shirlee
Marshall.
Trustees for a three-year term
are David Dickman, Nathalie
Keller, Irving Marshall and
Elaine Zeron; for the two-year
term, trustees for Bernard Feld-
man and Florence Weber.

Young Adults
Attend Play

The Young Adult Division of the
Jewish Federation of Metropoli-
tan Detroit will host a gathering
for young adults at the 8 p.m.
May 25 performance of Beau Jest
by the Jewish Ensemble Theater.
The performance, which is at
the DeRoy Theater of the
Maple/Drake Jewish Community
Center, will be preceded at 7 p.m.
by a reception in the JCC's Allan
Lounge.
There will be no solicitation of
Campaign gifts.
