Engagements

On May 24 at 6:30 p.m., the
Midrasha Center for Adult Jew-
ish Learning will host an open
house for prospective new stu-
dents interested in enrolling for
Midrasha's upcoming summer
mini-semester of adult Hebrew
classes. The open house will be
held at Midrasha, 21550 West 12
Mile Road, Southfield.
Midrasha Hebrew instructors
Ahuva Newman and Tziona
Ragowsky will review class ma-
terials and help prospective stu-
dents. At 7:30 p.m., following the
open house, prospective students
will be invited to audit one or
more current classes at no
charge. Summer classes will in-
clude continuing beginners, in-
termediate and advanced. There
will be no new beginner class
until the fall.
Midrasha's summer adult He-
brew classes are continuations of
current winter-spring semester
classes. There is a tuition fee.
New students are welcome to
join any class if the level is right
for them. All summer classes are
contingent on minimum enroll-
ment. If necessary, classes may
be combined for the summer. For
