The 1937 Yiddish film The Can-
tor's Son (Dem Khazn's Zindl)
will be shown at the Washtenaw
County Jewish Community Cen-
ter May 12 at 1 p.m.

achieves fame and fortune in his
new county but finds that suc-
cess seems meaningless as he
longs for home. The film will be
discussed in a talk on Jewish
identity and Yiddish films which
will be presented at the JCC on
June 16.
The film is free and open to the
public.
